I got the idea to do this poster only recently. I have always been a big Fan of Super Mario RPG and have wanted to do a poster of it for a long while, however I wanted mine to stand out from all the rest, so I gave it a kind of Storybook desaturated tone, and really pushed the detail and Textures
I got the idea to do this poster only recently. I have always been a big Fan of Super Mario RPG and have wanted to do a poster of it for a long while, however I wanted mine to stand out from all the rest, so I gave it a kind of Storybook desaturated tone, and really pushed the detail and Textures and lighting and Shadowing, and I think it turned into a pretty neat looking piece! It was a fun switch to draw all the different Characters, as opposed to all the regular ones that are in the Mario Games. It was especially fun to finally draw Mallow and Geno! there is a TON of characters and stuff going on in the poster! It was a labor of love, and took me close to a month to finish.
