Help - Spikes in PS2 joystick readings - Project Guidance - Arduino Forum

I have setup my PS2 wireless receiver set up to control a pair of motors connected to a motor shield on the Uno using the PS2X library from Bill Porter. The issue I have now is even when the joysticks are not moved (neutral position), there are occasional spikes (of max value) from both sticks. This causes the motors to jerk then it happens. Code and serial output below. #include <PS2X_lib.h> // library for PS2 controller #include "CytronMotorDriver.h" // library for Cytron SHIELD-MD
