Join us for a film series on the atomic age, presented in conjunction with the exhibition “Kei Ito: Staring at the Face of the Sun.” “Hiroshima Mon Amour” (1959) was written by Marguerite Duras and directed by Alain Resnais. A co-production between France and Japan, it documents a series of intensely personal conversations between an unnamed French actress and a Japanese architect interspersed with flashbacks. It is considered a hallmark film of the French New Wave. NR, 90 min.Films are sponsored by the UGA Parents Leadership Council.
