This fountain pen has been cleaned, flushed and back to wonderful writing condition. The fountain pen cap and barrel are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The ink window is blue from ink staining and one still can easily see through it. The plunger filling system works perfectly, it sucks up ink when turned and will dispense it when turned in the opposite direction. I flushed inside of the barrel with water and ultrasonically cleaned the NIB and Feed. The gold filled trim is in perfect condition with no wear or brassing. The cap banding is stamped with, Germany Pelikan. The Pelikan NIB is designated Medium and writes with a medium stoke of roughly .78mm when measures with digital calipers. The NIB writes extremely smooth and certainly is a pleasure to handle. I have tested the fountain pen with water and ink. The writing sample was completed with the Pelikan M200 that is in the listing image by using Parker Blue-Black Quink Ink.
