Bumbu Rum XO 750ml – BevMo!

Applejack was the first distilled spirit in the colonies. George Washington served it to the revolutionary troops and yet, post-prohibition there remain very few producers of this uniquely American spirit. This recipe pays homage to my Great-Grandfather Arthur “Skipper” Ford. He had an apple orchard where he grew heirloom apples. Our favorite apple, with its tart flavor, was the Arkansas Black variety.
